Northland Wrestling presents Ground Zero, 2025
RESULTS
Northland Wrestling's road to CONQUEST VII continued off with another packed house at GROUND ZERO.
The event began with single competition which saw Derek Diggler defeat one half of the Tag Team Champions Uncle Custom.
It was then a rematch pitting Slater Jacobs against the big and powerful Slam Campbell. Slam looked to have Jacobs put away when the Blue Chip rolled him up for the 1-2-3.
Northland and True Patriot Champion Tomer Shalom made his way to the ring with his Vicious Circle running buddy Anthony Fiasco. Their interruption was cut short by Northland authority Josh Bain, who quickly set up the main event pitting Tomer against Matt Burns. upon finding out he would be expected to defend both championships, Tomer vacated his title to Anthony Fiasco. But Bain had other plans, creating a True Patriot Championship match for Fiasco and Jimmy Spite.
Anthony Fiasco versus Matt Burns resulted in a disappointing night for the Sulphur City Sinner, when Fiasco cheated his way to victory.
The opening contest saw the Double D's make short work of the Gutter Dogs. After the match, the Digglers made it clear they are gunning for the tag champs, The Crew.
It was then Godzilla vs King Kong when Mack Bridges went one on one with Rusty Blackwell. Rusty Blackwell took the fight to Bridges early on but an impressive display of power from the Merciless was too much of the Butcher. With Miles Morgan by his side, Mack put down the big man and where ready to continue the assault when Tommy McCloud hit the ring. After a well placed hit from Miles Morgan, Mack leveled Tommy with a spear.
Next, North Star Champion, Zondra Lee, made her open challenge but the Gutter Dogs were not who she was expecting to see. After a valiant fight, the Little Manic fell victim to the two on one assault until Dann Jarris made the save.
In the main event, title versus title match, Tomer Shalom stood victorious over a defeated Matt Burns after Fiasco slipped a pair of brass knuckles into the ring. Tomer was able to knock Burns out with the weapon to retain the King of the North Championship.
